Rasmussen has
just released a new Florida Poll, and guess whose on top... NOT Giuliani, it's Mike Huckabee.
For weeks upon weeks, the thought by many pundits is that the Hucakbee/Romney battle benefited one person: Giuliani. Romney's strategy, which by the way is the same as Huckabee, was to put the bulk of resources into the early states and use the bounce to propel him to the nomination. Giuliani, however, had a national strategy that was built on Super Tuesday. Seems, Huckabee has the best of both worlds, just look at the polls:
Iowa - First Place
New Hampshire - give that to Romney
South Carolina - First Place
Michigan - First Place
Nevada - Second Place
Florida - First Place
RASMUSSEN NATIONAL TRACKING POLL: FIRST PLACE!
What happens to the Inside-the-Beltway elites (and one way out in California) when the Huckster takes four out of the first six contests? What if Iowa gives Huckabee a boost to New Hampshire and he takes the Granite State?
As Terrel Owens says, get the popcorn out and watch the parade of elites eat crow. Need some Tabasco Sauce?
